PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce made it through his third straight day of practice Thursday, making it more likely he will return from a sports hernia injury in this weekends game against the Houston Texans. DeAndre Yedlin USA Jersey .The centre has been out since having surgery at the end of September. He was cautious Thursday when asked about the possibility of playing.Im not ready to say anything definite yet, Kelce said. Im feeling better, Ill say that. I think were at the point where its not going to get worse by playing.A sports hernia is different than many other football-related injuries, with some unknowns when trying to recover, Kelce said.Theres a pain Im not really used to, Kelce said. Its the type of injury that no matter how hard you work it in the weight room and the training room and everything, theres just certain things in football that put abnormal stresses on your body and are going to tweak it a little bit.Kelce started all 16 games as a rookie in 2011 and all 16 games last year. He missed 14 games in 2012 with a torn ligament in one of his knees. He was a starter this year before hurting himself in the third game against the Washington Redskins.Hes missed the past four games and the Eagles are 2-2 without him.David Molk, an undrafted free agent signed by San Diego in 2012 and who sat out all of 2013, has filled in for Kelce at centre. It takes a little bit of time to work back in there, Eagles offensive co-ordinator Pat Shurmur said of Kelce coming back. Youre certainly working on the things you need to do individually and then getting back working in a group. But theyre pros, theyre veterans, they understand how to deal with injuries and coming back from injuries. So it could be a shorter period of time than it could be for some. The original estimate for Kelces return was the Carolina Panthers game on Nov. 10. If he does make it back this Sunday, he would be a week ahead of schedule.I cant say Im going to be out there and be 100 per cent healthy and not have any issues on Sunday, Kelce said. Because there could be a drastic instance where Im completely off balance and I try to catch myself. Its probably going to be an ongoing thing.Eagles coach Chip Kelly said he will wait until the week ends before making his decision on Kelce.Hes looked good the last couple of days, Kelly said. Well see as we get extended through the week. And then well make a decision on Saturday with him.NOTES: The Eagles had their full squad at Thursdays practice with the exception of safety Nate Allen (hamstring). Allen was on the field for the portion of practice the media is allowed to watch, but was listed as not participating on the official report. Nickel cornerback Brandon Boykin (hamstring) returned after missing Wednesdays practice. Running back Darren Sproles (knee), who missed last Sundays game at Arizona and linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf), who was limited to 20 plays last week against Arizona, were also practicing. Guard Todd Herremans continued to practice with a torn tricep and wide receiver Brad Smith (groin) also practiced on a limited basis. Matt Hedges USA Jersey . He was set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 5th. The 34-year-old Laval, Que. native has played six seasons with the Penguins. Tim Howard USA Jersey . Hamilton signed offensive linemen Mike Filer, Joel Reinders, Landon Rice and Carson Rockhill. http://www.usasoccerauthority.com/gyasi-zardes-usa-jersey/ . Jacobs scored two in the first end, but Jahr briefly took charge with two in the second end and two more in the third. Jacobs, from Sault. Marie, Ont., gave Canada some breathing room, following his big fourth end by adding two more points in the fifth to go up 7-4.MONTREAL -- Rachel Homans Canada team defeated Val Sweetings Alberta rink 8-6 to win a second consecutive Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Sunday night. The Ottawa team of Homan, lead Lisa Weagle, second Alison Kreviazuk and third Emma Miskew, defended the Canadian womens curling championship they won last year in Kingston, Ont. At 13-0, they are the first since Linda Moores rink in 1985 to go undefeated at the tournament. Homan took early leads all week and did it again by posting three points in the second end, although Sweeting answered with a hit for two in the third. Sweeting was a tad strong on a raise in the fourth and Homan came around the right side to hit for two. Alberta got one back in the fifth. Canada was in trouble in the sixth when a Sweeting draw left Alberta with three stones near the button, but Homan scattered them with a hit to salvage one point. Sweeting drew for two in the seventh to close the gap to one point, only to see Homan pick off two Sweeting draws to score two in the eighth. A Sweeting bid for a double takeout fell short and the Alberta skip was forced to draw for one in the ninth, handing Homan the hammer and a two-point lead going into the final end. Canada ran them out of rocks to clinch the victory. Prime Minister Stephen Harper witnessed the win from the grandstands at the Maurice Richard Arena. He was wearing a Canadian Olympic team jacket and posing for pictures with fans between ends. Harper has been to the mens Brier, but a curling official said it was his first visit to the Scotties Manitobas Chelsea Carey won the bronze medal game 7-3 over Saskatchewans Stefanie Lawton. It offered some consolation for not reaaching the final. Juan Agudelo Jersey. "The disappointment doesnt go away, but you want to at least salvage what you can out of it," said Carey. "I dont agree with this even being a game. I never have. "The Page (playoff) system builds in a bronze medallist. But, as much as I disagree with the game, its nice to win a game to get there." Carey made two perfect draws to score two in the eighth end for a 4-3 lead. Lawton blanked the ninth and had the hammer going into the final end, but then disaster struck. Second Sherri Singler threw a flash, third Sherry Anderson hit a guard and soon there were five Manitoba stones ringing the button. Lawton tried to sneak in an angled raise with her last shot, but it couldnt get through and Carey got a steal of three. "It was worth a try,"said Lawton. "It was there...I had to stick it right on the nose. I couldnt roll off. But it was a bit too hard. We didnt leave ourselves in a great position to score one that end. "It would have been nice to finish with a medal, but Im proud of our girls. It was a great tournament for us. Its unfortunate how it ended." The winning team splits $25,500 and gets gold rings with a diamond, while the silver medallists get $15,500 plus a gold ring with a ruby. Careys squad gets $12,000 and a gold ring with an emerald. Because of her repeat win, the Homan teams diamonds will be twice the size of last year. Lawtons side gets $7,000. All 12 teams get $4,167 for wearing title sponsor crests. The winner usually gets $40,000 from the Own The Podium program, but in Olympic years that goes to the team that qualifies for the Winter Games. ' ' '
